Enjoyed it, cool overcast day but just wanted to do something different Saturday morning, signed up for an REI kayak trip and this did the job. They provide the kayaks for six hours, instructions and lunch (one hour to do forms and seeing how it all worked) We started out from Columbia Marina just outside the Pentagon river entrance, went up to Georgetown and back.

Goal met, enjoyed it, plenty of exercise, and got to try out longer, sit-in kayaks (versus the sit-on-top one I rented at Claytor lake when I bent the hanger on my bike) Probably up to about 30% buying one myself. We'll see, this'll do for now.

So pretty good day and I will sleep the sleep of the gods tonight.
