The only reason I question the info on the ACC's website

(other than Swofford is captain of this ship) is that no other website supports the ACC's claim by placing an * by the Fiesta Bowl and/or Peach Bowl to indicate that the ACC's champion is guaranteed a NYD6 spot in the event the ACC Champion doesn't qualify for the Playoffs.

Rose Bowl
Tuesday, January 1st, 2019
Rose Bowl, Pasadena, CA
Big Ten vs. Pac-12

Fiesta Bowl
Saturday, December 29th, 2018
University of Phoenix Stadium, Glendale, AZ
At-large vs. At-large

Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl
Saturday, December 29th, 2018
Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Atlanta, GA
At-large vs. At-large

Sugar Bowl
Tuesday, January 1st, 2019
Mercedes-Benz Stadium, New Orleans, LA
Big 12 vs. SEC

I guess it is possible that the ACC is assuming that its champion will receive an "at-large bid" to either the Fiesta or Peach given how last year the Big Ten's champion (Ohio State) and the Pac-12's champion (USC) were selected to play each other as an "at-large" in the Cotton Bowl because the Rose Bowl was 1 of the semi-final games. Fortunately for both their champions were ranked in the Top 10 in the Committee's final poll.

Where things could get interesting and maybe even put the ACC's assumption to the test if a P5 champion ends up ranked outside the Top 15 or maybe Top 20 in the Committee's final poll.
