The Departure of Dr. Wallace Loh can only be good for Maryland.

His damage to that institution will be felt for a while.

The biggest issue may be the long term interest in football from the younger generations. It appears to be in decline in major areas of the country, and kids are choosing other sports to pursue. Long term that can affect because kids will become interested in other things.
