Divisionless conferences?

College Football Live on Monday discussed some conferences going divisionless and determining their conference championship teams by best two teams instead. Thoughts? I like it for no other reason than teams would play each other at least twice every four years plus get a much better championship game. $EC and B1G would likely oppose. Seems like a good idea for the ACC. Play three teams yearly and rotate five and five. Choose championship game by CFP rankings? Current rules stipulate that all teams must play yearly if there are no divisions, in order to have a championship game.
