I am not sure what goes to the College Park Foundation (endowment) and what goes to the capital campaigns but Loh is adept at raising $.

UMD has some alumni (Sergey Brin, LeFrak Family, Dan Snyder) with very deep pockets.

They have been challenged with a lack of leadership in both the AD and the administration, on and off for decades. If they got it together, look out.

College Park itself has changed substantially in the last 5 years. Loh can take some credit for that but certainly not all.
