When was the last time we lived up to expectations in one of these?

Every time that I can recall us playing an early season tournament like this, it has been nothing but disappointment. St Louis last year, A&M 2 years ago, and even going back to the tourney year with Seth when we lost to So. Illinois, we have always failed to live up to preseason hype in the early tournaments. Until I'm proven won't, I'm going with 1-2, including a loss today. Hope I will be eating crow on Sunday, though!
