I think crowd size and frequency of games matters too.


Hoops has avg 3 players at 5 positions
FB has 3-4 at 24 positions, plus more coaches.

Hoops has 8k-15k in arena
FB has 20-65-70k

Hoops has coaching every time down the floor.
FB has it at the end of a drive

Hoops all play on one unit (rotating of course)
FB has starters and scout team. They don't rotate much.
