I've examined it extensively.


It's not pretty. A fencing championship from 69 years ago and a couple of Cheerleading titles is all I see. Getting women's teams in postseason is nice and all, but hardly going to move the needle. And I acknowledge the men's basketball team 42 years ago had a good tournament and season.

I studied all the teams from the former Big East pretty extensively when the ACC was looking at candidates, Rutgers included. And they still have that football game played against Princeton in 1869. They are the birthplace of college football.
