They are NIT bound (which they won last year), but they are not terrible.

They are a very good team at home and a bad team on the road. (They also know how to win close games as their NIT run last year proves). This pretty much describes 2/3rds of the teams in college basketball. These are young men that have emotions and in this game, the BJC was a factor that helped PSU and hurt VT. Plain and simple.

PSU is a matchup nightmare also for Tech. They are big, physical and play that way. Any team that has 4 guards and a forward will struggle against that style in that environment.
