Boston College is the one with a real gripe. GT fell, but not hard.

I took a look at where everyone would land if it were purely achievement based (of course I'm using computer rankings, so this is only worth what they are).

Of Massey, Sagarin, and Colley, only 1 puts Georgia Tech in a Tier 1 bowl. This is the "fantasy" column, where I mean "Georgia Tech's Fantasy World where money isn't a factor" not "fantasy sports"

I then measured how far each team is above or below where they belong; counting all tier 1 bowls as being a 4.5 pick since they are technically equal. I did this two different ways. Avg Diff, is the difference from their average pick to reality. Int Change, is the number of slots away from where they would be.

UVA is the most over rated being ranked an average of the 9th choice but in a tier 1 bowl; it's even worse if you consider the Belk bowl to the real 1st choice in "Tier 1". We're next most over rated being in the 7th choice though we are really ranked 11th (of course if you account for tiers, it's a smaller jump than say UVA).

Boston College deserved to be in a tier 1 bowl, but instead ended up in the 10th. Georgia Tech was the second most screwed, but still did not deserve a Tier 1 bowl.

Everyone else landed more or less where they belong.
