then I say ride that train for as long as the coaches can. While it would be nice to see a HS recruit spend at least 3 years at VT, it is possible the current coaching staff is better at scouting JUCOs. Another possibility is that more of the 3-star HS recruits are truly 3-stars are probably more suited to playing football at either a G5 or DI-FCS school. At least there may be fewer diamonds in the rough (meaning a 3-star recruit that is talented enough to play at a P5 school and can hang with the 4-star or 5-star recruits).
