Are you assuming that VT will be able to see a significant increase

in 5-star or 4-star recruits? At least that is the impression I got when you said, "I don’t see a lot of talent on the field, so that starts with recruiting." If that is the assumption you are making, then I am not sure how realistic it is given VT's situation.

Also, I am not sure how realistic it is to expect a 3-star recruit to develop and leave VT at the level of a 4-star recruit or even a 5-star recruits. Diamonds in the rough (i.e. Sam Rogers and Steven Peoples) are starting to become fewer and far between if that isn't already the case now. So I am not sure how realistic it is for fans to expect the coaches to recruit mostly 3-star players and turn a majority of them into either Sam or Steven. As much as I would like to see 11 Sams or 11 Stevens on either side of the ball, VT may only be fortunate enough to get a handful of those types of players in a given year (including the time it takes for them to develop into that kind of player).
