First, those are three of the worst performances I’ve seen by a VT defense as well. Pitt was the first time I entered a game thinking we had ZERO chance to win in a loooong Time.

Off the top of my head I remembered ‘Cuse 2002 being really bad. A quick archive check confirmed 50pts and 604 yards allowed. And that wasn’t a McNabb Orangemen squad...that team finished 4-6.

The end of the 2003 season allowing 31,23,34,35,52 over the last 5 was equally horrifying. That defense had a ton of talented seniors on it that just quit. I like this year’s squad full of young guys making mistakes much better.
