He is the Houston billionaire who owns the Rockets and Landry’s restaurant empire. He is a close friend to Dana and wanted him in Houston two years ago when Cooger High hired Major Applewhite. Dana stayed because he had two years of Will Grier. With a down year pending in Morgantown next year he’s getting out before getting axed. I would expect that Fertitta is the major funding behind this move.
