the Stanley Cup to the local AC Moore to get framed for the wife. Figured it was fitting for multiple reasons: 1) We were both outside the Verizon Center when they won, 2) Her dad was one of the original owners of the Front Page in Dupont and their whole thing was framing and hanging the front page of newspapers. We also met while she was working at the Front Page Ballston. Needless to say I was really looking forward to her opening it.

Before she did she had me open the "big" gift she got me. It was three individually wrapped things. I opened the first one, it's a framed WaPo front page of the Caps cup win. Opened the second, another (different) WaPo front page framed of the Caps cup win. The third one was a bigger front page (full-sized paper unfolded) of the guys on stage at the cup parade. I did my best to not laugh and, in doing so, I guess I looked disappointed about these things cause she said "Um... you don't seem too excited about this." "I am, trust me, these are great." She then opened the one I got her which, thankfully, was a different front page from the ones she had done, and said "Are you f-cking kidding me!!!"

Looks like our home office is going to get a Caps makeover.
