Truth is the Pac-12's problem is one they can never solve - their time zone. By the time their games roll around, no one cares except them. Their presence is already established in their market and their presence outside of their footprint has no draw, even when a team is hot. A lot of this has to do with the fact that the other Power conferences and the two credible G5 conferences all play eastern and central time schedules. No one wants to wait 2 more hours for what has been historically, poor football.

Basketball is a bit different but then time zone does not affect it as much because of so much travel, but let's be honest, basketball does not pay the bill, never has, never will. It is all about football and for the Pac-12, it is too little quality and too late in the day to make a difference.
