No worries. So I spent 3 days feeling like I was starving and bloated

at the same time. I had gas pains in my stomach and upper abdomen and it sounded like a baby's playroom with all the whirring, gurgling, bubbling, etc. None were severe, maybe a 5 on a scale to 10 in discomfort but definitely not normal. Eating made it subside a bit. It wasn't the normal heartburn, it didn't burn when I burped... just dull pain.

After day 3 I could go 10 hours and be fine and then have a 15 minute bout where it was uncomfortable. Finally on day 4 I started taking OTC Nexium. Today is day 6 and I feel fine, no discomfort at all but my stomach is still gurgling a bit and letting me know it's not over.

My appointment was this morning and I got prescribed the pantoprazole sodium (prescription grade Nexium).

I haven't had any alcohol since last Thursday, which hasn't been as bad as I thought it'd be. I typically drink one cup of coffee in the morning, usually around 5:30 or so. That's going to be tough just because I enjoy it so much.
