I’d say it was a combination of
fundraising gaffs and football gaffs. We had the opportunity to build on the momentum (both fball performance and fundraising) of the late 1990s and the 2000s. We squandered it with old school development staff who had no vision or understanding of technology and an unfortunate loyalty to offensive coaches
We fell behind with fundraising (a little at a time) and allowed other programs to poach the state of talent.
Compare all of that to what Clemson did in a very short period of time (10 years). [Post edited by Pride_and_Joy at 01/14/2019 7:01PM]
