You need some exposure, but not too much. Are you going to be in the sun for an hour today? Enjoy! Are you going to be in the sun for 8 hours today? Use some sunscreen.

Common sense, which admittedly isn't always right, suggests that no sunlight, but also sunburn is not good for you.

To go back to margarine, it's like there: you are probably better off having butter, but you still need to moderate how much.
