Losing Jean and Berry was huge. Jean played a little tonight but didn't really contribute. We complain about KB playing but with what we have, who else you gonna play. Shepherd didn't contribute much and neither did Camp. Baptiste is getting better but can be prone to foul trouble. Camp is not a threat to shoot from outside. KB not so much either. So teams are doubling Emery and collapsing on McGarrity. No answer for ND's bigs. Basically they could rotate 10 players and not miss much, vs. we have 7 and and drop off when they go in. Mabry will hopefully improve. One of the ND fans told me at half that we had a nice team and he liked how they played. Also said they really wanted Mabry and were very disappointed when she chose VT. Her sister was clearly the better talent tonight but she had a better supporting cast. I think with Jean and Berry at full strength we win against the U, Cuse and Hoos. And if that had been the case I doubt anyone figured we'd beat ND.
