I am not disputing that point. My post was more of a generalization. I do think a good percentage of recruits, maybe even a majority of them, visit other schools even though they say publicly they are committed to a school is because they enjoy the feeling of being treated like a rock star by the schools on the recruiting trips. Think of it as a (hopefully) scaled down Hollywood version of the treatment Anthony Michael Hall received in the movie "Johnny Be Good."
