I thought Leen and Gavin were solid coaches for Garland at UVA. That said, Pitt has never seemed to capitalized on their location, a fact I tend to attribute to lack of support from the school. To wit, Gavin wasn't anywhere near thier first choice.....but they got a young, smart, hungry coach with all of the right connections.
