Now I have even more questions for them. At this age though, they explain it as hiding from bad guys. And to them, bad guys are pirates and dragons and yetis. It will be interesting to see how it effects them over time. Kids adapt. The biggest takeaway to me from the article is how I need to stop “adutification” of my kids schedule. It would actually be nice if they could grow up like I did after school... coming home to a parent at home and just playing till the sun went down. Instead of after school programs, forcing their time to fit into our schedule. I’ll see what I can do.
