And I believe Bob Hansen may be the forward you are thinking of.

That was a really good VT team, real shame that they drew Bird U as a second round matchup. Similar to the 96 team that had to play UK in the second round. I think both of those VT teams had sweet 16 potential had they gotten a better matchup.
