“the BACON promotion on FT's in the second half is genius!“

I saw all the groans and the giant bacon signs. What was the promotion? What needed to happen for them to give out bacon to attendees?

Either way, sounds pretty funny. Beyond the Bacon, I was pretty impressed with Bede and Wilkins for their own reasons. Bede it seemed was not put in a position to cause turnovers, and he got some steals and good shots.

Wilkins seemed to put himself where he expected the ball should be, and he recovered turnovers and rebounds and made some nice shots. His put back and foul/ 3 pts and then the 3 pt shot at 13/14 min remaining was the turning point of the game. We just don’t want him to bring the ball up the court, for fear of tossing it out of bounds.

The kids are growing up before our very eyes. Bacon!! bacon!! Bacon!!

They should be saying Outlaw!! Outlaw!! Outlaw!! With all those 3’s, he saved VT’s bacon! And damn, he’s got some swats! One of his blocks went into like the third row.

Finally, a +1 to NAW for going over to the bench and giving a love tap to the injured GT player Devoe after they bumped knees. Def professional and not often seen. Way to go NAW.

And FINALLY FINALLY, the Easter egg of the game for those at home would be the salsa merengue dance that buzz did at 6 min left after NAW received the pass and made the layup and one- the initial broadcast just shows Buzz smiling and then sitting down. The replay shot from above the backboard showed him dancing around on the sideline after NAW made the shot and drew the foul. Classic Dancin Buzz took me back to the old days when he was typically “less composed”. Good stuff.

Stuff like that is why I wish I could get back to the Burg to watch more of these games in person.
