Mostly right, I think, EXCEPT the assumption that NYC salaries wouldn't be


A LOT more. The cost of living there is 20 to 25% higher than US Average.

BUT...arguing against myself....I was surprised that they picked high cost of labor locations like NYC and NOVA anyway for just this reason. Then again, their biggest frame of reference is Seattle, and that's not known for being cheap.

But I still say to myself "why choose places that make your labor cost 20% more than it could be?"
