Upon further review, I discovered that there were 2 more teams involved in the Challenge, but not in the usual format

Instead of 4 schools playing at a campus venue, Florida State, Notre Dame, Ohio State, and Minnesota played in the ESPN St. Pete/Clearwater Elite Invitational along with a number of other schools. The games played between those 4 schools also counted in the challenge total. The big difference is they only played each other once and the conference ties were a footnote - not the focus of the weekend.

FSU went 2-0 and Notre Dame went 1-1 so the overall talley in the challenge was
Big TEN 23, ACC 13.

Still looks like the ACC could have used the Hokies.
