performed. You have evidence they perform well. As to the salesman, he sounds like a jerk. He ALSO sounds like a window (or siding) salesman. I think they all pretty much work on the "offer good until I leave" premise, but this guy sounds like a jerk. They know that their chances of closing drops dramatically if you get a chance to think about it too long (even IF it's a good deal to begin with).
It's a pretty brutal business and VERY cut-throat, which makes me wonder if the "deal" is really the main difference and the products/installation are all pretty much the same..I don't know the answer to that.
You could talk to the GM or branch manager if you really want that company. That will give you another data point about the company itself.
I'm not the best one to ask. I might blow off that company just BECAUSE the salesman ticked me off.. not always the best way to go.
