I think recognition. Of governance and oversight

Many of the old pac 12 university presidents were not interested or engaged in athletic program oversight ..

Scott gave them a leader who would do all for them and let them maintain hands off

I think acc is best in regards to university oversights and Swofford maintains tight relationships with the presidents and the university’s leadershis at bov falculty ad and coaches ...all pulling together
