is so devoted to a place he/she would stay when more $$ is thrown at him/her. At least these days. I hope Fuente and Buzz both stay...for a long time. But that seems unrealistic.
I recall a column by Will Stewart about 10 yrs ago(maybe more) regarding Beamer...and he basically said we should enjoy Beamer as long as we can...because when he goes, the next person(s) will be at VT for a contract...they will not to be at VT to be devoted to the University and it's community. Sad, but, unfortunately i think true.
