Even though Wofford won all 3 games against UNCG and deserves

to be in the tournament, I do think UNCG may be the better team for the tournament. Interestingly enough Wofford faced (I think) 4 NCAAT teams and lost all 4 games. While UNC-G faced 3 teams (not counting Wofford) and won 1 (PV A&M) of the games. Personally, I think UNC-G should have gotten in over St. John's.

WRT St. Louis, I would say that may be another good example where the best team from the conference may not get into the NCAAT because an upset occurred in the conference tournament. However, VCU was the regular season champion in the A-10. Followed by Davidson (2nd), Dayton (3rd), St. Bonaventure (4th), GMU (5th), and St. Louis. I don't think St. Bonaventure and GMU were in contention to receive an at-large bid, but it would be interesting to see if St. Louis receiving the conference's automatic bid stole an at-large bid for either Davidson or Dayton.
