How does the SEC stop the ACC from winning the NC?

The best option is playing them and beating them. UGA just increased the difficulty of their own path to a championship, but they also increased difficulty of the pathway for powerhouse ACC teams. Plus they distinguish themselves from Bama - who doesn't do this type of thing. Even though the games are 10 years out, they will reap benefits now when talking heads ramble on about how they are making efforts to improve their schedule, etc.
