Stokes had never been a head coach. His first year was his best year at VT and he was barely above .500.... he did not have a winning season (ever) in what was left of his coaching career. 2 years at ECU after his stint at VT and he won something like 14 games total over those 2 years at ECU.

Next year may be rough.... it likely will be, unless he gets Jesus himself sitting on the bench beside him because the cupboard is looking lean. Buzz won 2 games his first year at VT right?
