I would say he was the last of a breed but
I've heard everyone from Saban and Gabo, Spurrier and Bowden, Phat Phil to Joe Paterno.
Everyone at ESPN and other broadcasters say what a honest, humble down to earth man he is. Saban and Gabo both used the term mentor personally.
Wether on the field, golf course or meeting room.
He wasn't the greatest, winningest or most famous.
Got to a MNC but never won one.
He had a few gaffs but nothing purposely unethical or close to immoral.
Believed in class hand hard work and doing the right thing.
Damn right we are lucky to have him.
Wouldn't have traded him for anyone. Still wouldn't.
He is one of a kind
