I’d argue Beamer was probably on the extreme side as far as transparency but that isn’t what lead to downturn in the program. Even basic things like player measurements being updated for spring ball and reading articles for Will/Chris on players that gained enough and too much or little. Ultimately, Fuente is free to run his program as he sees fit and I’m sure he feels that’s the best method to maximize on field success, however it comes at the expense for less excitement and buzz around the program.
