Dr. Emery Pace! The best.

I'll never forget him calling me after the final exam. I had an 89 in that class, and I tanked the exam. Got a 35. To this day, I have no idea how that happened.

Dr. Pace on the phone: "Is this William Stewart?"

Me: "Yes, sir, it is."

Dr. Pace: "I have one question for you ..."

Me: "Yes?"

Dr. Pace: "DID YOU STUDY FOR MY EXAM?"

Dr. Pace, "Well, I'm going to give you a C for the quarter. You didn't earn it, but I'm going to give you a C."

Me: "Thank you!"
