Lets take a look at the schedule...
ODU, Furman, RI - All should be guaranteed victories... 3-0
BC, Duke, UNC, GT, WF - All winnable games (new players and coaches all over these teams, and all with less talented rosters)... 8-0
ND, UM - lets go ahead and chalk these up as losses... 8-2
Pitt, UVA - We should be favored in both games (Pitt lost a ton of contributors from last years team), but could easily split the two (worse case)... 9-3
The only scenario that I see 8 wins as not being a regression is if we somehow slip up out of the gate to BC and then recover nicely as the season progresses. I just don't see where 8 wins with the worst schedule I've seen in almost 20 years says we are progressing from last season.
