a lot of potential coaches. I think CMY being from Radford and growing up watching Hokies sports was the biggest factor of landing him. I wonder if CMY were born anywhere else 200 miles away from a Radford if he would’ve taken this job.

That said, CMY was a good hire. Full disclosure, if I were an AD, CMY would have been my 2nd choice behind Thad Matta. But Matta is a bit of a risk if his health is iffy and we would have likely had to buy out the remaining payments he was receiving from OSU. So CMY May have been destined to be our coach. And I’m good with that.
