The level of complexity had to go down as characters were eliminated.


Hence, predictability went up. Without Margaery, Olenna, Tywin, Littlefinger, the Boltons and the Freys around, there are only so many possible endings. But there still lots of possible combinations -- just because we are down to 10(?) possible endings does not make it predictable.

Yes, some will have a moment of disappointment that their favorite ending doesn't happen (just like I was devastated when Margaery bit the dust), but this series is so rich that the real disappointment will be the series coming to an end.

When last night's episode concluded, I could only be sad that there are only 5 more episodes.
