It helps me to view him as a student-athlete rather than just a student.


Having a student leave for graduate studies elsewhere is always bittersweet--you're disappointed that they chose not to stay at VT, but you're excited that they have positioned themselves to have opportunities elsewhere.

I'll feel the same about Blackshear.
