I guess it depends on why you choose a late round guy. Breakout potential?


Most late round picks don't amount to much anyway. A lot of them don't even make the team. So, if you're betting on a longshot, I think it would be fine to do that with a punter or kicker.

You need some cheap okay enough guys to fill a position? In that case, the picks may have more value, so probably not.
