Understand where you are coming from.

If something happened that broke up our merry little band of traveling misfits up at the airport lot, I too would probably begin watching on the big screen at my house.

Sure would be a lot cheaper from a monetary stand point. I made the mistake of keeping a record of all I spent last year following the Hokies. Enough to make a retired man blanch. Included the normal HC dues, ticket cost, home and away, plus the cost of going to Blacksburg 6 times including spring game, plus some assorted road trips, including Tallahassee, and the ill fated trip down to Norfolk for the disaster at ODU.

But as long as I have my health, and can still do all the long distance travel with the travel trailer, which I love to do (witness the 8900 miles we put on the truck and trailer on our trip out to NM, CO, UT, ID, WY, MT, SD this past summer), and enjoying the company of other Hokies on football road trips, I'll keep doing it.

Unfortunately, at almost 72, the horizon isn't nearly as far away as it was a couple of decades ago.
