Takes about a month to adjust to them. For me, there is no going back.


I would miss the middle vision way too much for things like the car dash and going up and down stairs. Computers also.

What you describe is accurate but your brain will learn to move your head instead of just moving your eyes. Downside is you can’t be discreet with progressives since you have to point your nose at what you want see 🥺.

My reading strength is 2.5X so I need readers all the time. Tried the lined bifocals but couldn’t stand the line in the middle with no middle distance focus.
