Don't get your hopes up for JUCOs this year, or a competitive team next
It's pretty apparent MY isn't really looking to go that route, and doesn't plan to be particularly competitive this year. He's building for 2020 and beyond, taking guys that can reclassify because he believes he can get the best talent now and mold it to fit his system.
On the flip he's taking transfers who have to sit out a year, don't believe a bunch of grad transfers is his goal based on the same line of thinking. He's seemingly well positioned going into next year and has spent a ton of time recruiting 2020 kids vs trying to scrap for the remaining 2019 guys.
We'll be fine in the future, a core of Cone-Nolley-Wilkins-Aluma to build on. That's a good bit of young talent to start with.
