I'd like to say the Black is soft and holding, allowing a 63 to be shot. But nobody else is tearing it up like that, so it puts the lie to my assertion.

Koepka wins on easy courses (Erin Hills), wins on Golden Age strategic ones (Shinnecock), wins on mindless 1960s RTJ courses (Bellerive), and is gonna win on a power course (Bethpage) where even wrist-breaking rough won't stop him. And he almost won on a course requiring the max local knowledge and more than a modicum of putting (Augusta).

I'm wondering what he will do at Pebble. I don't think an overkill of power will help him as much there as it does at the Black. Greens are really small there, that's a different course altogether.
