No one questions it was a mistake by Willis to throw the Pick.
The amazing part, and the part most QB's in the same situation would fail at, is make a tremendous play to neutralize the mistake.
Way too many QB's in that situation would just hang their head with a woe is me expression.
And the QB's that would try to respond, would probably not have the athletic ability to make the play Willis did.
What's amazing is 1) Willis didn't hang his head, 2) he took off in an all out sprint, taking out a ref in the process, and 3) making a tackle that most of our DB's only wish they could have done last year.
And if there was any lingering doubt from some team members on Willis' desire, drive, ability, want to, it had to have been erased on that play. [Post edited by Atlee Hokie at 05/17/2019 07:48AM]
