They have never heard of him, except maybe for some locals. Penny ran point for Shaq. Granted, before these kids were born but they know about the Shaq/Penny days in orlando. He had a signature shoe that these kids ALL know at a glance. He’s a completely different beast than Danny Manning, who is essentially a nobody.
