We are pleased to bring back “Summer Hours” again this year starting Friday, May 24 and ending Friday, Aug. 30, which enable team members to leave the office on Fridays at 2 p.m. local time. We recognize that there are different seasons around the world, but we’re taking this time period as an opportunity to offer team members greater flexibility at a time when many have holidays and additional commitments outside of work. It’s also one of the many ways we can invest in our culture and thank you for your continued hard work to support our customers and business partners.

A reminder of how this works:

· To participate, you will need the support of your direct manager and, for hourly team members, you will need to abide by normal policy guidelines on overtime work.
· It's also important that you coordinate with other teams and functions who may place demands on your time and we do expect that you continue to meet the commitments of your job. I realize there will be times when leaving at 2 p.m. on Fridays will not be possible, but hope that many of you will frequently be able to participate in this program during these months.
· For those outside of the U.S., including EMEA, APJ-C, and LatAm, we are offering this program where local country and workforce council and laws will allow.

Note: It is up to the individual discretion of each ELT member as to whether they offer Summer Hours, so this communication is specific to the Global GC Organization (Legal, Security, Government Affairs).
