R U talking about softball coach Loren Messick Laport? She has only . . .

been head coach for 2 years. She came to JMU from Radford with head coach Mickey Dean. JMU's softball program began in 2002 and reached it's first NCAA regional in 2009. Loren actually played softball at Roanoke College.
