The Liberty/Dot connection is the thing of legends

Dot has told the story of being in Florida and having a successful medical practice when some local people asked her to run for office. She is unsure what to do and at 11:00 at night prays to the Good Lord to give her guidance to make the right decision.

The next morning at 9:00 am, the Liberty AD calls and they start a conversation about her taking the Liberty job. He tells her that they are the largest Christian university in the country and they want to become a national player in the game and they're starting by building a new softball stadium that she can design with basically a blank check

She says "I've never coached before" and his response is "yes, we know," but we feel the Lord is pointing us to you." She considers it her dream job.

Her favorite line is "be careful what you pray for." I have had the pleasure of meeting her twice and she is a very impressive lady.
